Usage Step:
1. For the tie-rod and ball joint applications, remove the cotter pin using a pair of long-nose pliers.
2. Remove the retaining nut from tie rod or ball joint stud.
2. Position the puller tool so that the center screw pressed on the end of the tie rod or ball joint stud. The jaws of the pullers should be force between the boot on the tie rod or ball joint. Tighten the puller center screw with a wrench until the parts have been separated.
